Dr. Lambert offers assessments for children, adolescents and adults who struggle with learning disabilities or face other barriers that impede their success in school or in their professional life.
These assessments, a combination of psychological testing and educational/achievement testing are called Psycho-educational assessments. They are used to determine learning strengths and weaknesses to assist in designing effective learning strategies.
Psycho-educational assessments aren’t just for children experiencing difficulty in the K-12 school system. Dr. Lambert has assessed young adults and professionals for learning disabilities who want to pursue studies at community colleges, universities, or through professional advancement courses. A documented assessment from a psychologist is often needed for such individuals to request and receive the accommodations/adaptations that will enable them to learn and achieve up to their full potential.
Additional assessments Dr. Lambert offers are in the areas of:
- Emotional-behavioral functioning
- Attention and focusing abilities
- Executive functioning - the ability to plan ahead, tolerate frustration, and organize actions to achieve future goals
- Daily living skills
- Other areas as needed
When Glenna meets with you she will discuss what testing needs to be done to provide you with the information you need.
COST: Base cost is $1600.00, which includes approximately 5-6 hours of face-to face interviewing and testing, scoring and interpretation of the results, a comprehensive report, and minimally a 1 hour interpretation to you in language that makes sense to you. All this work is done personally by Dr. Lambert.
The cost can increase up to $2200.00 if the assessment is more complex and requires more testing time and the use of more test instruments. This will be discussed with you in the first session and the price will not increase beyond our agreed upon total cost, even if Dr. Lambert later finds that she needs to do more testing to provide a thorough assessment.
